WM Ops session Review

Yay, op sessions. Two months from now, my club will be getting back into operation, after a period of reconstruction of certain areas. I've been preparing the trains/waybills/staging and schedule for the next session. 10 mainline freights, plus 5 more locals. Not too mention the yard work - Sudbury yard is a busy place.
Unfortunately, I'm a little far from Lee to make his op session, as it'd take at least 10 hours to drive there in good weather.

Lee points the interrogation light RIGHT at me, I think it's because I seemed too relaxed at first.

Should I point out that most of those photos (including mine, Ed's and Karl's) were taken at an Ops Session in August with 6 large people in a small room with 90+ degree temperatures?

Yes, as a public service to the community, I've suspended all summer ops sessions... at least until it gets a little warmer outside.

Cleared all the crap out of the train room today.  Last chores are to hook up the VCR in the crew lounge for the train porn, and to block out some coal traffic.  The yard now has an office for paperwork, there's train sheets at each of the main towers, and plenty of beer, ice water and diet cokes in the fridge.  If you desire any alternate beverages, you're welcome to bring them.

I stood at the cooler this morning debating whether the Vitamin Y was going to be traditional Lager or Black and Tan... I opted for the Lager.  If you all can provide the munchies, I've got the beverages pretty well covered.  As you pass by the several Wawa marts on the way, please keep in mind that your host really likes those multi grain Snyder's pretzels, but the pumpernickel is the cat's pajamas... 

Vollmer, you should tell the kids your stepping out for a gallon of milk, then catch one of those $99 Southwest flights to BWI.  Ed'll pick you up.  Don't worry about the wife... the statute of limitation for child neglect will be up by the time she gets home!

Drive carefully, guys.  Can't wait to see you all.
