Enjoy!  Is this getting the new paint job?

Lee

No, I'm gonna keep it fireball. Who knows, maybe Walther$ will re-release the BL2 in speed lettering by 2015!

I'll add steps to the pilot and probably call it a day. Oh yeah, and couplers (1015?).

I may just swap out the truck sideframes and turn down the flanges, we'll see.

In the two runs they've done, they did both WM numbers... in the first plastic frame and lead blob release back in the late 80's, 81 was in Fireball and 82 in speed, the second run was vice versa.  I took an old speed shell and put it on a new drive, which took a modicum of effort, but gave pleasing results...

They could do the later speedletter scheme with gold pin strip stopping before the curved side skirt, and if pushed, I'm sure they could do the Chessie re-numbers.  (Both of these would be appropriate to have the dual headlight modification)

One thing I miss about Lifelike is that they were very good to the local railroads.

Yes, and the warehouse sale didn't suck, either!
