Now in fairness to the seller, she just said that 1950s N scale were it to have existed, and come from Trix's Austrian mountain lair, would be "Neat".  I agree with that sentiment.  Sort of Harry Turtledove-ish.  I agree.  It's like: 1750s HO Scale - Lionel Tibet. Weird!

Take a bit closer look at our "24 yr. old college-girl" listing...
An e-bay store with over 75 pages of listings, including multi thousand dollar "buy it nows". Plus a web site.
Top of the list- $95,000 for what they suggest is their entire comic book collection.(an assertion that deserves further examination)
This looks like a "net-savvy" daughter fronting for the family antiques & collectables business. They just haven't a clue about n scale, & it isn't worth their time to bother finding out.
No wonder she got pissed at Richie's questions...

Very possible. I should have put quotes on the "she" part.
But consider too; e-mail & the forums are pretty easy- even for me.
Anything else comp. related; I'm dumb as a stump & ask the 22 year old for help.
I'm not alone there; better off than some folks.
Btw; I corrected my miss-spell on your name-I've been seeing it long enough here & atlas to know better. :-[
My point was- the profile makes the (supposed)seller sound like some chick that grew up with mom & gran acumulating pretty trinkets, & got the bug. Maybe trade a bit here & there, but gee...
Instead, we find a "pretty substantial" antique business going behind it...
After that "come-on", I'm not surprised that "Sheila" or "Pop Taz"
had some ruffled feathers. They threatened to complain to e-bay... "Daddy! We've been outed!!" : Anyway, it was kind of funny, I thought.
Man, I guess I should have kept all that 1st. gen stuff I dumped...

I looked a some of their high priced N Scale junk.  Then I looked at their completed auctions.  They don't sell very much of anything.  I was in a bad mood and feeling righteous last night, so I sent them an E Mail that said they should be ashamed for asking high prices for swap meet quality junk.  I also said they give the honest sellers a bad name.

 No response, but it made me feel better.  LOL
