I cant believe with how good Athearn's stuff looks above the frame, how BAD it looks below the frame!

I cant believe with how good Athearn's stuff looks above the frame, how BAD it looks below the frame!

Word on the street is that their upcoming releases will feature more frame detail.

Wait until I post photos of the Kato stuff.  The Athearn "Ready to Roll" is entry level.

i have already started to tear down my first N scale attempt and now i'm thinking that i'll just be done with N scale for now and switch back to HO with Sargent couplers.  where's the waffles?

I've never been a fan of the RPP GP40X shells, they're a case of good design gone bad... all caused by one assumption (that the dyamic flair was the same height as any other EMD)
