Summer is just busy with three youngsters and tough hobby-wise as I fall into cars and motorcycles while the weather is nice. That said, I promise that this topic will continue again as I need to wrap up these two modules for upcoming shows this fall. I've made some piece-meal progress here and there, plus I've been working on hand-laid turnouts for our upcoming yard project. More on that later.

You guys bugging me for updates help keeps me motivated though...

Should be about 52" radius.

They're cut from single sheets of 5' x 5' plywood, so that front edge is 60" radius.  Track centerlines are 6.75" and 8" from the front at the ends, so take a little off for the few inches of tangent at the module interface and I guessed 52".

Back from the dead...

Well, not dead, but I haven't made updates in quite a while (understatement!). Now that winter is back, I've made some progress here and there...

Franksville buildings have kept me busy and I've more recently been making some progress and should have a few updates over the next couple months.
Did I mention resin cast walls are a pain in the arse to work with? Varying thickness, warped, blah, blah, blah. I've got so much cross bracing in this thing it isn't funny. Plus I have to fix a general twist to the building from front to back, but it is getting there. Roof pieces are cut and ready to go. I need to add some roof drains, cap the parapet wall after the roof is on and add roof details. I also need to paint and weather it  Warehouse building in progress:

Modern day prototype which is a little different today:





I have the loading dock built and the overhead roof above the loading dock as well. I need to add the incoming electric connections, attach the roof and add trim pieces. I also need to re-glue some of the siding back down and weather this thing up a bit to bring out the details. The connector building needs roofing material and I have another garage storage building to add.

Lots more work to do, but it is coming along.
