I can't start painting my CSX AC4400cw which I jsut got and can't bring myself to paint over the current scheme for the Dark Future paint scheme and need a little push in the right direction to update this AC4400CW. I also want to know if there is any decals of the Dark Future paint scheme.

This one was done with the decal set mentioned above.  I think I did this one sometime early last year.

 :)

If you are really having a hard time taking the airbrush to a perfectly good paint job, M.B. Kleins still has the undec versions in stock at $59.99.  Then you have two CSX versions...

Its not that hard I done about 5 or 6 of them for my road. I used Polly S CSX New Image Blue and Gold and the MS decal that Bob mention.

All you need to know is that the Kato AC44 model as is for CSX is only good for road numbers 2-115, to do 116-173 you will need to get the late AC44 fuel tank from Kato. You could also do 1, 200-301 but you will need the steerable truck sideframe or complete trucks from Steve4's website as well as the late fuel tank. Also only 61, 65, 69, 116, 217, 290, and 295 have been repaited so far for waht can be painted with the Kato shell.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

So your saying I need to pick another number instead of 546......   :P  I just realized I also goofed on my SD80MAC YN2 repatch.  I was off by 2 numbers.... Must have been hung over that morning..  ::)

Hey, it happens. I painted FOUR SD80macs into YN2 and none were the correct number and then CSX started repainting them into YN3 scheme. They all been corrected since but it happens. Beside You only need to drop the 5 or 6 on the AC44 and you wil be OK. ;) Look really good though.
