Check out katousa.com and the Kato/Kobo SD40-2's in FURX custom paint...

I think only ONE FURX SD40-2 is in an SD40-2 carbody - the rest would match an SD40 better...

I only see the one road number, 3052, and it's certainly looks like a -2 (even if the lettering on the cab is the wrong type).

I don't put any faith in any schemes that "The Freight Yard" does anyways.  Too many shortcuts taken along the way.  This model has many examples of that.

185 clams is not bad for a custom paint job specially for the Maersk unit, but then I so that The Freight yard is doing them.

Firbie's true SD40-2s include 3012, 3021, 3048-3052.

ex-CP SD40-2, with the attendent Canadian style details. Nose headlight, cab front bell, single rear headlight, GMDD style vertical steps, snowplow, the pair of louvered doors near the end of the long hood (detail specific to certain CP series.)
