So I know I have a "history" with these things, but I felt like it'd be a good place to start.

The CRHS is looking to start having a "modeling" section on the site that consists of articles and model reviews. I wanted to put together an example of a review so I wrote this up:

DCC friendly?
Handrail size/durability
electrical pickup
probably others but you seem to be "MR easy" on the flaws of the model.  A little more information like build dates, class/order nuances and eventual dispositions would be helpful.  Come on big boy, lets see more of that detailed reseach we all know you have...

I think a comparative photo of the offending details would be useful.  Maybe the GP-60 next to the 38 so we can really see what you're talking about.

Me too. Also perhaps a shot of the mechanism. Maybe some performance specs? Min/max speed, current draw, drawbar pull?

Needs a bit of revising... the LL GP38-2 wouldn't have Q-fans to begin with.  A better comparison would be a Kato SD40-2 fan or Atlas GP38-2 fan...
