Kato Mikado screw help

I did a sound install for a customer and donated a missing screw from one of my locos figuring it'd be easy to get the right part from Kato. Silly me, all sold out in their parts department.  :-[

The description is "900010: Screw 2x3mm, Round Head, 6 ea"
http://search.cartserver.com/search/search.cgi?cartid=s-1078&keywords=N282HVYREV&maxhits=100&bool=AND with a photo at: http://www.katousa.com/images/900010.jpg

Now I'd expect a screw with a desciption of "Round Head" to be a pan head screw but these are flat head screws. I'm guessing they're metric vs English. But I don't think they're 3mm screws, the size seems wrong to me.

Does anyone either know what size the screws are so that I can order some from somewhere or have a source of a few of these screws?

Those screws hold the gear plate in position. How many do you need?

2 at this point.

Only 1 was included with the boxful of pieces (the loco was completely broken down, even the siderods were removed) that was sent back to him by that large, expensive but to be kept nameless, well-known VT DCC site. Their response was that the loco was 'broken.' So I user a pair of screws from one of mine to put it back together and make sure it ran OK in DC before I did the install. Considering that the 1 screw they did return looked like it has been gnawed on by a steel toothed rat I guess I'm not surprised they felt the loco was broken.

But it seems to me that I should have a few spares, considering that I'm likely to have a few more Mikado installs coming my way the next few months which is why I was asking for a true size so I could see if I could find an acceptable substitute.

This looks promising:

http://www.microfasteners.com/catalog/products/METFMSPS.cfm

Item FMSP2003 is described as "M2 x .4 x 3mm," and according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_68-1) for metric threads the "M2" means 2mm diameter.

(caveat--I've never ordered from these people, so I can't vouch for or against them.)
