I keep watching for this:

This month instead it's this captive service noodle boy:

Well, with the 86' hi-cubes looming on the horizon my wallet needs the relief.  ;D

But check it out, there might be something for you!

Well they did this weirdo scheme already:

And a bright yellow SHELL scheme. And probably some other weirdo schemes

But no plain jane shippers car line, which were rather common. I keep waiting ...

According to the PC Color Guide, the car did make it out to Pottstown at some point. That'll give you a little variety...  ;D

The CPR 40' plug/sliding door car is timely for me - perfect for the lumber yard....! BTW, how did the Penn central find the time to repaint an old MOW three dome tank car ? One would think that for a road with such a short history and a financial crunch they might well have had better uses of time and money....? ;D

Kinda neat looking however !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Pudd, Holidaysburg (one of the two towns the car supposedly shuttled between) was one of the PC's major car shops, so I'm guessing it was just sitting around and someone had half a can of paint to use up.

Aren't pretty much any tank cars painted for RR's (as opposed to private cars) in captive service?

I know MT has done a GN fuel car and I think an SPS company tank.  And, of course, all of the CGW color coded tank cars including the double fantasy red one.

If you want to see a car done, send them the pics, otherwise you're stuck with what other people are willing to do some work for.

Preach it to the choir ...

Yeah, done that twice so far with this car alone. ::)

They obviously ignored the 3 emails I've sent them this decade pointing out the errors on their N&W HL wanna be's ...

Mark ;)

Looks more like a Japanese Midget Sub. Chris.

I think I'll grab the DM&E car.
