Anyone have an easy way to remove the flywheels off the atlas motors. I am trying to get 2 off and they will not budge.

I have not had much luck either and have ruined a couple motors trying. I built up a plate with a slot and tried to push the shaft out with a punch, it didn't work and bent the shaft. I haven't seen a puller that will fit in there ether.

Would heating up the flywheel work?  Just guessing...

maybe I should write a book and get paid for these bits of advice.

set up your puller of choice
tighten it, but don't crank down.
tap the driving bolt.
tighten a little and tap again.

for the mp-15 be aware that the motor shaft is 1mm.

I am not sure If Atlas uses lic-tite. but heat is not a bad idea...
up to a point.

Thanks guys. I was able to pull them off the MP15 motor by hand, but could not get the ones off a "standard" motor. Even tried my wheel set puller. Did not try heat though. Was able to pull the flywheels off a Kato motor with some vice grips.
