Are the FMC's ex-MDC or are they new tooling?  Pretty sure the SEICO's are new Athearn's but I couldn't recall about the FMC's.  Those BN restencils look pretty interesting, regardless.

The Seico's were new tooling a few years back but the FMC's are ex-MDC. I seem to recall that the tooling may have been updated, but I could be wrong about that. In any event they will have McHenry's and come in plastic boxes. Whoo-Hoo!

The tooling on the FMC's was updated. Mainly existing of a Plastic underframe and new trucks w/knuckle couplers.

Now that they have announced the Husky Stacks, what MDC body styles are left besides for the shorty tank cars?

Well, some of the Athearn releases were not upgraded cars other than the couplers.  I would like to see them completely retool the Thrall Hi-Side coal gons personally.

Then they could look at some of their HO stuff to do in N, namely spine cars and Berwick bathtub coal gons among other things.  We could always use more containers in N, as well.

I would guess mid 90's right before the merger for these...or maybe even post merger and still using BN marks.  I have seen (may even have) photos of the Galveston Wharves car with BN marks.  It looks like they even faded the paint, which would be WAY cool.

Funny, I just found two of those going into my stash of cars.  Didn't realize I had them.  Gotta change those Crapidos tho.
