I built a new diorama this week and here it is.


This is just the normal diorama with no photoshoping on it.


Obviously photoshoped.


maybe a dusk dawn look?

Thanks all! yep, there needs to be some planks and foam, but I'm saving up for a new loco.

If that's the view you think you'll be taking a lot of photos, I think that you may want to change to foreground.  The lower right has what appears to a small hill coming up towards the lens which is out of focus and might be a constant source of problems.

Well, Popsicle sticks may a bit to thick for c40 track. ;D but I'm sure I'll find somthing.

I think the lighting looks pretty good.  A few things that already have been mentioned that distract from the photo are the wispy trees and the large out-of-focus hill.  I would knock the hill down a little bit.  This way, your camera can get a little lower and look up slightly at the crossing.  With no other large land forms visible, the camera currently looks as if it would be suspended 40 feet in the air.  There is some texture visible in the backdrop, too.  But pretty good atmosphere.
