I think I've seen round ones also...

Perhaps this is something BLMA would consider doing - maybe a pack of trackside details?

It'd be nice if some of those parts were available separately. I'd really like to see the switch motors as a 6 or 12 pack. Us midwesterners/northerners could use some switch heaters to go with them, too. And flange oilers. The list goes on...

WM's were basically concrete cylinders, much like a culvert pipe, with a manhole cover on top.
From the WMRY West Sub Website...


Easily modeled with some Plastruct tubing and a Gold Medal manhole cover.
