I did it for a year or two...  and the editorials for Scale Rails magazine were clearly delivered in that hopper.

I never felt like I got anything out of being in the NMRA.  Yeah, I know, they set the standards and advcate for the hobby and all.  Maybe they're better now.  But about 5 years ago there was some kind of political fracas going on that really made reading the newsletters and stuff unpleasant.

I am , and my Wyoming & La Grande is registered with them in HO and N . I wish they did more for us N scalers though .
