Just because I've been to lots of "live" auctions of old gas stations, and estates and such, I have to wonder how much "shill" bidding is going on with ebay. I've been trying to get some parts to restore my '64 Honda SuperHawk cycle on ebay, and anything worth $10 goes for $100 to the SAME bidder on several guys auctions. Then they re-list the same items in a month or less. Smells like shill bidding. All good cameras and electronics on ebay are being shilled, IMHO, because I can buy them from "brick and mortar" NY stores for far less. I can't believe a 15-20 year old Nakimichi Dragon cassette deck would bring an honest bid of $1700...they didn't cost that new! And they never say how many hours are on the heads(open the case and a little display tells you), so what are you bidding on? :
