In all fairness to IM they seem to have a somewhat decent track record on releasing most freight cars.  Diesels is another matter.

Oh, I ordered two cars from FRTS last August - one is now scheduled for July and the other for August! That'll be a whole year! The one now scheduled for July was originally February and a week ago was June, as of the 8th it is July...

What they're doing is buying all those old Bachmann and trix Santy Fe cabeese off of ebay and re-packaging them.  Really saves on manufacturing costs...

I want the Illinois Central Caboose with side door that Centralia did in HO. I know I want some rather obscure items in N .The Santa Fe Caboose nice though it will be can be bashed from existing models.       Nate Goodman (Nato). Salt Lake, Utah.

Does anyone out there know why we need another All Tramps Sent Free caboose?  Every manufacturer that sells cabooses must sell an ATSF caboose, except for MT (maybe I can  post that to the 'Why I like MT' topic).

With many from which to choose, all of varying quality, and detail parts available for those who want to do upgrades, why do we need another one?

Err, you might want to check that...  ;D

I'm pretty sure they did a red one at one point too!

Got no need for any of these but I do have a question.  The while cupola one - don't ever remember ever seeing a photo of one - did they use this for some special reason, pool trains,inter-divisional, etc?

I pre-ordered 3 DRGW corrugated coaches from 4Nscale on November 10th, 2006.  I notice every month they get pushed back another month.  The funny thing is I personally sent those parts over to China for assembly in a FedEx air shipment when I worked there over 2 1/2 years ago!   The good news is I somehow wound up with 3 complete sets of parts for those cars . . .
