Damn glue!

I was putting some finishing details on my ARR F7 when I got some superglue on the outside of the shell. The good news is I was able to scrape it off. The bad news is it also took my weathering with it. The weathering is chalk sealed with semi-gloss. I have never been able to match up weathering before. Anyone have any advice? I really rather not repaint the whole thing.
Celebrating 1000 days of humiliation.

It is weathering, what is the difference?

Spots will start to rust at different times, thus rust will appear more or less progressed in different places on a given piece.  This is also true of dribblings and dirt.  Paint will also fade unevenly.

Depending on the size of the area that the glue got, you could also put a dent, damage or a patch.  If the piece sat under a tree or under roof eaves for some time, it would have the results of repeated pigeon dive-bombing practice over a large area.

Post a pic of the 'damage', and hopefully/probably someone will know just what to do.
