HEMTT Military Trucks

I picked up a HEMTT truck on Ebay - you have probably seen them or you can search for them now. It's a resin casting, but my hope was to build a train of them - which used to be common going to or from the old Military Ocean terminal in NJ.

I'd say don't bother -they are about 20% too big and do not fit on MTL 89' flatcars. The casting is decent enough though I imagine these were based on some other model or toy.

Too bad - maybe MTL could do these as a load.

I'm sticking with the GHQ M1'A1s.  I looked at the Minifigs but although cheaper, they just don't compare with the GHQ stuff in scale and detail.  It's like mixing Atlas code 80 and code 55 rail.  The code 55 makes the code 80 look like crap.  As for a HEMTT this could be a  project for my retirement although someone will probably produce one by then.
