Geez Pudd, we're all misty, my dad bought me a Lionel O-27 USMC train set where the engine launched rockets. We traded it after awhile for the new HO thing. Didn't like it and got the 0-27 back. That was in 1960. In 1963 he bought me a Penn Line Santa Fe Super Chief. Figure 8 on 4x8 with an Athearn grade crossing with arm and some Revell buildings, the small town station and Weekly Herald. Those memories...I have some old Super 8 and I think the 0-27 could be on those films. I am so glad Ed got to work with his dad on his layout this past weekend. Spend all the time you can with your parents. I lost my dad in 2005.

Nice stuff everyone as usual. :)

Still working on this module scene of an old Milwaukee Road "tower" A68 (half the structure used to be two-stories tall but was lowered down to one-story after CTC took over) circa 1950's:
