FRV wheels for PECO goods wagons?

Y'all are so busy singing the praises of these wheels, I thought I'd try some on the only cars I have problems with, the three PECO British outline cars I have. PECO wheels don't play well with Micro-Engineering track, but the wheels have exceptionally long axles. I equipped the brake van with Bachmann metal wheels, but they don't look right.

Since Matt occasionally checks in here, maybe he knows.

Pretty esoteric... I wouldn't count on a definitive answer.

The longest axle length made matches the ConCor wheelsets.  If you have one of those laying around, compare to the Peco axle length and let us know.

Hi Gregg,
I think that the wheel diameter will be too small to look right, I'd suggest looking at NWSL. The Peco axles are a lot longer than Atlas or MT. I sized up an Atlas 36" wheelset and that was too narrow and the wheels were definitely too small in diameter.

cheers

My Graham Farish stuff also has extra long axles and larger diameter wheels.  The wheelsets on my brake van in American N are around 42"
Thanks much,
