It's all too easy to mock Micro-Trains fantasy schemes.
(this is not a hint about the next series  ;))

I'm waiting for the presidential assasin series that will quickly follow the president's series. Each car will come with a copy of Catcher in the Rye. I'm sure it will be a big hit.

Of corse we all know their "Mc Donald's" location series will be a big hit too.

It's a shame that they are locked into "series cars that we can do without paying licensing fees".  If they took the plunge and paid for rights to do a Star Wars series, they would probably sell two million of each car.

New from Micro Trains for 2009.... " Famous Model Train Pundents" car series..... start your collection with the Tony Koester car - it won't go anywhere without a waybill, a Car Track plate and a CTC system being installed on your layout... Next will be the MR editorial board car, it will be emblazened with the Walthers and Woodland Scenic's logo and related advertising........ ;D
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

That sprung a maybe better off dead brain cell into life . What about a cattle car with a cow in it and coupler springs mounted under its hoofs which in-turn are mounted in detents in the floor allowing the heifer to wobble around a bit . A Mad Cow car , bobbin around like a car rear deck wobbly head .

I could go for a Three Stooges 4-pack but only if they had sound.

I curious to know what N-Scale Collector will be doing to further enhance this series… “Almost A President” cars? What will we get, Al Gore? How about William Henry Harrison – he was only in office a few months?

The El Hefe series.  The Fidel centerbeam flatcar and the Raul depressed flat.

That Southern 50' boxcar would have been running back in 1972 right?

If it fits the era i might just have to get one of'em.

I'd have to break the set and sell the Shemp car.

Nah. Repaint it into a Curly Joe car.

If they were used on a switching layout, would it be considered the Curly Shuffle?

How about Micro-Trains does Micro-Brews: a series of billboard reefers.
