I'm reserving judgement till I see one in person, but I'm not feeling so great about this:

What don't you like about the model in particular?  The horn is incorrect and the fuel tank look almost a little small.  Otherwise, it doesn't look too bad.  Thanks.

Looks like a pretty pronounced line above the radiator grilles, and the louvre detail on the rear doors seems a little thick.
Hard to see detail on the fuel tank, or air tanks.

I think a lot of people are reserving judgement... I wonder if they're reserving models?

This will most certainly betray my ingnorance of all things diesel...

Other than the somewhat obvious gaps in the shell (if this is a pilot model, they're understandable), what are the main issues?  It looks decent to me, anyway.  But then I don't know Conrail diesels like Ed does.

It's hard to tell anything from a small, highly compressed photo.

Yeah way too blue:

 ;)

Looks like a larger fuel tank:

Ah, I see. There are no external air tanks. Inside the carbody then I guess. Quebec North Shore & Labrador's SD40s had a similar arrangement.

I just think the overall fit and finish quality is on par with the previous ones (which means not good).

I feel like they're selling Aveos here but asking for M3 prices.

Mine isn't bad. There isn't a noticable gab on the blower and the cab and paint seems to have come out better. The handrails are a bit wavy because they are so thin and it took a bit to bend them back. I ordered two but refused one due to broken parts. I agree its a bit blue.

Did it come with the standard fuel tank?
