They look like the trucks and wheelsets that were pictured with the N&W hoppers.  I wonder why they would sell them on ebay...

PSC = Precision Scale Company, a detail parts manufactuer and brass rolling stock importer.
PCM = Precision Craft Models, makers of vaporgoods like the N&W hoppers.

According to Walthers, who carries only a fraction of PSC stock, they are a "batch manufacturer," so items will come and go. There yet may be hope for brass N scale trucks.

It's also possible they never made them, and the person selling the trucks on eBay removed them from brass imports (why, who could know, but stranger things happen).

Are these sprung trucks, or just trucks with springs in them?

Do we even know if the photo's Bob posted are N scale?  Could be a HO car he bought to measure.

I'd really be inclined to believe this to be true.  It would be pretty darned hard to achieve that level of detail shown in the car without canisters in N scale using only etched and folded brass.

I'm a bit confused. I know that HOn3 uses N-scale track and trucks, doesn't it? Does this mean these are basically N-scale trucks with oversized wheels? Since a 26" HO wheel would be a 48" N wheel? But using the same logic that says the axle spacing would be way wrong also, ie 4'4" HO would be 96" N?

Well in this case it's n2 and n30, but you get the idea.

If it's even feet only one number, if inches it gets 2 numbers. Back in the beginning it was n2-1/2 instead of n30.

HOn30 runs on N gauge track HOn3 does not.

that was my thought too but look at the wheels, somehow they look not like H0 wheels...
