The MR staff did this 7:00 video on thier home layouts, we need to see Ed, Dave, Lee's and more layouts in the same format.

Very nice, interesting video.  I liked the variety of interests of the staff.

I find it interesting that many of the layouts were not "masterpieces" .. It's great to see the Model Railroader pros are human also :)

I was really surprised that Andy S's layout was not more complete .. nice video ..

Ahhh, the new editor's kid is an N scaler!  There's hope!

I like Popp's layout more and more every time I see it.  In concept, completeness and quality, it's a great piece of work.  He also seems like "one of us".

I bet he lurks here just because we crack him up.... 8)

Can't get it either.  I subscribe to their sister mag TRAINS and I thought that I could get anything in their site.  NO DICE.  No subscription, no video.

I might be amenable to sending in some video footage if someone wants to put it together.  I've got about 7 weeks left before I need to crate up the layout for the summer.  We're putting the house on the market and I don't want people messin' with my trains!

If we could get a few clips together, it would be really easy to mash them together with iMovie or something similar, with really nice titles and effects. The only question is, what background music would represent the Railwire most effectively? I'm thinking the Monty Python theme, or "Train Kept a-Rolling" performed on kazoos.  ;D ;D

Geez, I suppose I'll now have to figure out how to take movies with my digital camera! It will take them, I think, just never had a need. Since I have two N scale layouts...

I belong to the Golden State Model Railroad Museum in Point Richmond, Ca. We produced a DVD of our N, HO and O Scale layouts. Here is a clip of it.
