Big Boy waiting for me at FRT with the Daylight on its way at the same time. Is it just me that my governement's tax relief check just changed hands before I even saw it?

Sweet looking locomotive, too bad I have no use for either it or the Challenger.   :'(

I tried to convince the Athearn rep at Hartford that they should do the 2-6-6-6 Allegheny next so us East Coast modelers could have some big steam to run.  I'm not sure I had any luck, but he at least wrote the suggestion down.

Man - those photos are sweet!  (The models are nice too... this and the Daylight)

Care to share any tips on your equipment and lighting setup?

No offense Chuck, but you should hire this guy for the FRT site photos.  ;)

No problem, Gary. I was thinking the same thing. Jamie's photo's are sweet. My camera has become outdated. It's the same one I've have had since day one back in 2003. It may be time to upgrade to something with more mega pixels.

I'm taking more photos tomorrow of a Tsunami install in the new GS-4. I'll take a picture of the tabletop setup I use. It can be replicated fairly easily and cheaply.

That said, I used Helicon for these photos and worked them in Photoshop a bit. I'm used to having to figure out how to light and photograph full-size cars in a studio, so models like this are a cake walk in comparison. :)

I've done some work for product before... Keeps my wife happier! :P
