Wheels of Time Hairy Men?

EDIT: Harriman ;D

Does anyone know the length of these? I want to have a set of cars to go with the impending IM release of the FP7 in Reading livery. When I saw the FP's announced I kind of scratched my head and said..."well that's stupid...no one makes RDG passenger cars!" Or am I mistaken?

I considered getting some Wheels of time cars and stripping/ repainting them, but they wouldn't be right...I would have to check the library but I don't think RDG had double window coaches without "skirting" on the underside.

When I first got back into the hobby, over on the A-board someone asked if there was interest in etched brass CNJ/ RDG car sides, and I don't know what happened after.

Any passenger modeling experts have some insight?

Thanks

Thanks guys. Hmmm...depending on who you ask, they are either 12' or 6' too short.

Lets see...the frame shouldn't be that hard to build...the roof is pretty simple, the ends....?

Anyone want to do the sides in etched brass? I'll provide the time drawing them up in illustrator!

I suppose that is an option, but it would work out to about 60 bucks a car, times however many cars, and the sides aren't quite right anyway.

It's quite a frustrating issue.
