Ed, check out this Conrail caboose. http://www.railcarphotos.com/PhotoDetails.php?PhotoID=30061 It looks like an Atlas Trainman caboose would make a great starting point. It is based on an ATSF model, right?

I would guess it was NYC at one time?

One of 7 ATSF cabs converted for CR. All had bay windows. Some were round roofs while others were angled as seen here. Cory and I have both worked on this project before. Mine is built, but not decaled. BTW the Bachmann cab would be a starting point for this car. I used the LL ATSF cab to model a round roofed version.
