I went to St Dennis Md today .. in a little over 30 minutes, 4 trains came by ..

Tankcar has a flam placard on it, so it could only be the sewage I make after a dinner of chili and beer...

Ethanol... they have some brand new TILX ARI tankcars no less.

That would be my guess .. the train had a number of tank cars in it ...

According to the USDOT Hazardous Materials Table 49 CFR 172.101

the placard in use on the car (UN1987) is for Alcohol a class 3 flammable. If it
was to be Ethanol it would have a placarding of (UN1170) also a class 3 flammable.
Most likely this alcohol load will be used in the making of ethanol in the next
stage of it's process.
