Those look like they will be very popular Craig!  I'll second the request for multi-packs of the electrical equipment boxes!  Outstanding products that fill a much needed niche.  Just what we have come to expect from BLMA!   8)

Thanks guys!

Our thought on assembled models is based on both primary and secondary market research.  While kit building is still done in the hobby, providing a kit version of any product reduces the potential market to kit builders only.  By offering an assembled model, we can please both builders and collectors (if the quality is there).  As always, our goal is to provide a reasonably priced product of high quality with great value to our customers.

Sirenworks:  Sorry I missed your question...  The answer is yes, they will be hollow, so removing and propping a door open is a possibility.

Sorry that I like to insist on kits since I just love the feel of CA glue gluing my fingers together.
I just not ready to accept BLMA's shift to pre-assembled models after so many years of desperately needed detail parts that pushed our N-scale world from the 20th to the 21th century. We would still talk about which manufacturer has the more prototipical molded on grab iron if it would not be for Craig.
I just hope with all the time spend on those fantastic structures, we detailers, kitbashers won't get forgotten.

Thanks for the kind words Roland, I really appreciate hearing that.

Please keep in mind that I'm the same Craig I was years ago (well, in the good ways!).  I do my best to have a keen sense of quality, scale fidelity, and value.  As time goes on, I have additional locomotive and freight car details planned.  Furthermore, I'm doing everything possible to carry BLMA's attention to detail over to our assembled models.  I'm still an N Scaler, I still enjoy the hobby, and I still like making the products everyone has been asking for.   :)  Thanks again for the kind words!

Craig:

We need some items missing in N scale detail parts, oil drums (some manfactuers have them), wooden pallets, cable reels, beat Blair to the punch - Mile posts.

Yes, go to any train show and you'll see enough oil drums to actually fill up a real one.

Lots o' oil drums: http://www.walthers.com/exec/search?quick=oil+drum&quicksrch_butt.x=28&quicksrch_butt.y=11

Product suggestion. While there are quite a few very fine N scale vehicles, I think we could use loads more. (Z scale is another matter, where we need any good vehicles.)
