Life Like C424/C425 help needed

I was stripping N scale Life Like C424 down to repaint. When the engineer side front handrail slipped out of my hand and down the drain. Does anyone have an extra one from a failed project or some as spare parts? I sent Walthers an email to see if they keep any spare parts, but I`m not holding my breath. Any help would be helpful...Thanks..
