Coal Train or Stone/Gravel

Where would this train be heading since it is empty, and where would it be heading if it was full.  Would any destination have it traverse either the River Line or the High Line?

I would assume that this is a coal train, if so what type of cars would they be, assuming that this is still in the CR era, what about the present?

Neither.

I'm guessing an empty slab train heading for South Philly.

Okay thanks, freight cars and freight locos has always been my weak point since I have always been a Passenger train guy.

What type of Gons would this be if it was a CR train as well as a CSX train?
