Painting my Randy vertical class a Climax .

got my flex sections all soldered/gapped -- just need to glue the track down and add feeder wires, then run more wires under the table to the electrical corner, and i should be completely (temporarily) operable until I finish building my control panel and 4 new throttles.

Just a little larger scale modeling from me. HO that is.
All that's needed is put on a couple parts and box it up
for the customer.
I know the purist's out there will say it's not right but it's
what the customer wants.

The window placement is wrong on the cars, but close enough.
I took the pictures so as not to notice it as much. 
It doesn't bother me much but might for others.

Jon, is that the Con-cor streamliner you used? and did you make any mods other then just decaling it for the Flying Yankee?

Yeah that's the Con-Cor model. In HO though, should be
the same as N. The only little mod I did was to make the
small number boards over the cab doors. I only did this
because the decals from Highball had them on it.

That is right. Though there are some minor differences with both
the engine and tail car. Now there is one thing you can do and that
is too buy the fourth car and replace the middle car with it. It still
is not quite right but will be much closer in appearance.

Finished another car in the CNR passenger consist... a combine that was kitbashed out of the Riverossi combine....



The car is in the "original" green and gold; the paint would have faded to the blue-green colour in the photo but I just didn't go there......



While waiting for some Gold Metal steps for the rest of the heavyweights I'm now working on a 6-6-4 duplex sleeper......

I'm starting to experiment with improving the look of my container fleet.  The goal is to balance looks with efficiency since I've got well over 100 containers to do.  This is my first try at it, and it's not done, and it wasn't efficient at all.  But, I'm developing ideas on how to work the fleet from it.

The stock DI box is on the right.


I also continued work on the layout, and painted the last of my MDC boxcar kit underframes.
