FWIW, the guy in front of me today at Caboose Hobbies was buying a whole bunch of them.

Here's hoping Chuck got some in too.  I've got a order being held for these to come in.

I got one .. but the radius is actually too tight for most of my applications .. but they are nice turnouts ..

that was my thought as well - the inside radius is wicked tight and lining up a series of them is asking for trouble on long cars.

well .. part of my problem is that I got tired of waiting on these, so I put track down using #5 and #7s .. and it wouild really be too big of a pain right now for me to reconfigure .. I don't think the turnouts will cause any problems, even with longer cars ... the geometry just isn't quite right for me ..

i looked at them and was concerned that sending a set of long cars with body mounted couplers thru a series would cause some problems.  not having a transition into the tight radius might cause some derailments.

I don't see that as a problem.  The inside radius is 15".  My layouts have had curves sharper than that (down to a 12 3/4" radius on the Virginia Central) and my body-mounted rolling stock didn't derail due to those curves or the couplers.  They just derailed due to operator error.  ;D

Mine works pretty flawlessly.  I'll be getting three more to build my east yard throat.  The curve is plenty smooth, and as long as you have the points snug and the rail joints in and out of it clean, you won't have a problem... unless of course you're looking for one... ;D

The inside radius is about the same as the most of the curves on the plans I've drawn for you, so I don't see how it would be a problem, even a series of them. In fact, most of the curves on those plans are a little tighter.

Then don't use them. There's nothing about the plan that absolutely requires them. Replace the yard throat at the bottom right with a conventional ladder, and just shift the whole yard up. Any others, just do a little realignment.

They aren't much more expensive than the #10s ... or Pecco for that matter ...

Mine work well.  The only derailments I have had are when backing a 35 car train through them.  I had mid train Red Caboose centerbeams with truck mounted couplers pick the frog.  This only happens when pushing them through with a long train, never when pulling them.  I may bodymount the couplers on these cars.

you guess all missed the joke - i complained that they were forever in coming and now that they are here, i need a new excuse so it's "they won't work"

i set up an obvious slam dunk and no one jumps.  8)
