These are one of the cars that would ruin me if someone produced a decent model of them. Though I'd like to not see Walthers or Micro Trains do them. The Walthers N scale rolling stock I've seen, even lately, just isn't up to par with the front-running manufacturers...

I'd be in for both 4 and 8-door versions of both the PS and Greenville cars.

IIRC, the DT&I intended some sort of color coding with its 86 ft. boxcars, by auto company and part type - they weren't all pink! I seem to recall light blue and light green ones as well.

Never say never. I tried to find my HO scale Athearn model a few days ago but manufacturers' drawings would be much better.
Talk to you about this one soon. The new centrifugal resin process is looking very good.

Robb and I have talked about these for some time now. They would take too much time to make using the RP process (ie too costly) but we have been working with a local company who have developed a new resin casting process that is exceptional. We will use it first on some products for the Australian market.

Sounds promising -- thanks for the update!  Provided the new technology works as you expect, would you consider marketing "parts" like replacement boxcar doors in various widths?  IMO, something we're sorely missing in N.

Yes, but there has to be sufficient level of demand to justify the work.

I love your products, but not being able to purchase them at my LHS or though Walthers has put a certain damper on my purchases. Your company has the potential to be able to produce some really great products, but few know about them. Should this new resin process work corectly, you could turn your business into Cannon & Co, Westerfield and Sunrise rolled into one.
