when I was a kid I roamed freely on RR property. Everyone was friendly. If I was growing up today and got chased off the property and treated like a terrorist I gotta wonder if I'd be into trains ...  ;)

I prefer the term a$$hole  ;)

As this is the Railwire, the term "a$$hat Extraordinairre" is appropriate.  ;D

Somewhat... a$$hat doesn't exactly imply the insensitive non-caring douchebag jerk part like a$$hole does  ;)

I totally concur with your point.  Too funny!  I needed that laugh today.   ;D

This was my second cab ride.  My first was on the same railroad about eight years ago in a FM H12-44 that was switching some boxcars.

Looks like fun.

What is the heritage of that switcher?

Former Beaufort and Morehead.

Man I'm envious!  Can't wait to see the videos ;D
Videos might be a while-my camera is apparently unable to transfer videos digitally; it must be done via analog through a video capture card that I don't have.  I have to find one at the college on Monday.
