Atlantic Eastern Rail Network Corporation Press Release
Announcing Our EXCLUSIVE First Railcar Release: MLMX 149
The Central Governing Committee of the Atlantic Eastern Rail Network Club and it's retail affiliate AERN Sales Inc., itself a wholy owned subsidiary of AERN Model Corporation and Atlantic Eastern Rail Services, both of which are divisions of Atlantic Eastern Rail Network Corporation are pleased to announce the exclusive release of a newly tooled freight car model. Designed to exacting specification and under an exclusive licencing arrangement with Metals, Lubricants and Machinary Recycling Corporation of Newark, NJ, the model will duplicate EXACTLY car MLMX 149. This project, which we believe is unequaled in the entire history of the model railroading industry represents a significant logistical undertaking:
- Pre-Production of the model will be peformed in the exact same factory in Hong Kong where Happy Meal toys are manufactured. Here our team of production specialists will ensure the model meets McDonald's exacting standards.
- Semi-finished models will then be sent to South Central Los Angeles where under the supervision of urban artist SCUFF32 we apply his exclusive and trademarked art murals to one side of each car using a newly developed computer controlled precision airbrushing technique.
- The cars will then be sent to our facility in Hoboken, NJ where finely crafted, exact miniatures of crushed automobiles will be hand attatched to each car to perfectly duplicate MLMX 149.
- Each car will then be lovingly dented and dinged using three dimensional acoustic radar images of the actual MLMX 149.
- The cars will then be inspected by our team of 20 full time and part time Rivet Counters before shipment to Bangalore, India for packaging and final assembly.
Cameron Tigworth, Director of Advanced Model Design Resources for AERN Corporation said, "We believe this model heralds a new era in the model railroad industry as well as completely reshaping the economics of scrap metal transportation".
Danny Sobroksky, President of Metals, Lubricants and Machinary Recycling Corporation said, "I don't know whad dis is supposed to be abouts, but dey is payin me for dis. So I sez - ya got da problem wid dat??"
The Atlantic Eastern Rail Network Club is based in Elizabethport, NJ and is currently constructing a model railroad depicting the railways of New Jersey's scenic Chemical Coast.
