If I keep "Mahoning Valley" in the name it can keep it's dinky status, but seem like the railroad goes somewhere important. South of the MV was pretty rural and had a few small coal mines.
This area in red is basically the "Valley"

There was a Pittsburgh Lisbon & Western that connected with the Erie at the end of the Niles-Lisbon branch. I like the "Lake Erie", but don't know about "Pittsburgh" maybe just

If you're planning on ribbed sided hoppers , all those reporting marks will require 2 panels . Just something to mull over .

Richie, This will be a narrow gauge railroad. If any coal is hauled it would be in flatcars with sides added.

My freelanced railroad is called the Grande Valley Ry. because I live in the Grand river valley in West Michigan.Where do you and/or your narrow gauge railroad live?

Yeah the EBT had steel hoppers and boxcars, but they were a rare exception. I don't plan on any EBT influences on my railroad. The EBT was a bit too mainline-ish for me.  :P

where is the traffic going on that line?  coal from cadiz to Wheeling to barge?
