So instead of being able to scrape away the printed lettering... now you need to go through the decal film first, before you get to the lettering?
What am I missing, because that sounds like it would be harder, not easier...?
yes, maybe harder, but lightly sanding the decal film off will leave you with just the lettering - the toner in my case. I haven't had a chance to try this yet, so I don't know how robust the toner will be when the decal layer on top of it is sanded off. It could just peel off the model, it it could stick pretty well - don't know.
