Dave, I thought I'd move the Winston Salem Southbound discussion to here. Also, since it's been almost a year, it was probably time for some new pictures anyway.

Yes, I am including the South Fork Viaduct but not the brewery. I have Bill Yard, Corn Products, Owens Illinois in Midway, PPG in Lexington, the High Rock Lake crossing and 3 bridges at Flat Swamp.

The WSS/HPT&D is located on a double deck island in the middle that is 4' x 24' and includes a 5 turn helix. The around the walls nolix is the NS from Danville to Charlotte. So, I have long running dual mains on one and lots of short line switching on the other.

We have had 3 operating sessions thus far. The last was a crew of 14, and the WSS is one of the favorites. It takes about 4 hours for 1 person to do a complete WSS run.

Hey Kevin,

Remember all the concern on these boards about the boingy-boingy of the floor due to your choice of floor joists? 

How many guys have we had walking around that place with not a single bump or boing?  The layout runs great. 

The most we have to worry about are the noxious odors that don't seem to be coming from the layout!

Keep up the good work.  Your progress has been inspiring --- I'm trying to keep up, man!

Have been putting in some Tortoises in out of reach spots and twin coils in the hump yard. That got old pretty fast so I stopped and did some scenery for a couple of days.

Thanks, Lee. I can only take credit for the trees. The rest was done by a young kid around here that I've been trying to apprentice.

You probably noticed a slight slant to it (nothing gets by you!). When we hot glued in the foam board, it dropped down just as the glue set. I didn't think it would be so noticeably at first, but believe we'll try to raise the back up a little.
