Another part of the fleet complete...

I'm now the proud owner of two BL-2's, Nos. 81 and 82 in speedlettering.  82 is the original Lead Blob drive, but it's coming with MT's installed.  I'll run it as is until I can get a good deal on a split frame drive.  At least it'll be easy to hard wire a decoder.

This will help with running the yard next time the gang calls.  I now have the entire WM BL-2 fleet, as well as all their SD-35's.  I have three of five GP35's... the next part of the roster that needs fleshing out.

If Kato ever does WM SD-40's, I hope they don't do the two I've already got...

Now where's that change that was between the couch cushions?

What about F's.  It ain't the WM without F units.  Also RS-3's, FA's, Baldwin and Alco Switchers?

I'd a had more F's, but Intermountain screwed up the B units...  Never fear, they're on order in the next batch.  I had a good sized fleet of Bachmann spectrums and plusses, but they didn't make the transition to DCC.  No matter what I tried, they burned out decoders left and right.

I'd also have more F's if someone would make the right damn decals for them.  But I just ordered the WM font, so I'll do that myself if need be.

RS-3's and F's were probably the highest volume units they had, followed by the SD-40's.  Everything else seemed to come four or five at a time.  (I've only got to do one more FA-2 to round that fleet out, too...

The auction on 82 just closed...  As soon as she gets here, we'll pose her with her sister...  If you want to see the rest of the fleet, you may click here:

You need to get rid of this unless you model the Wilmington & Northern:

Good catch on the last BL. Now about them slugs... :)

Yeah, that Reading unit is out of place...  It's got an old Atlas drive (not chip friendly) which I swapped out from 3798.  It's upgraded with a snow plow on the front.  We'll accept offers with the bidding starting at $20.  Look for a listing in the Trading post.
