If only they would produce a "low res" version of the station wagon for filling up MT auto racks...

Hmmm....

Also looks like the 50' flat w/ 40' trailer is being released in Trainman...

Plus yet another release of 90t hoppers in Trainman, including PRR and Penn Power & Light...

According to the Walthers "announced in July" page.

We should know for sure soon, as the NTS opens tomorrow and I'm sure they'll make the latest announcements.

Fairlane as a nameplate was gone by 78, replaced with the Fairmont, which I believe Atlas did in HO, and maybe N.  If it's a retread, then it's likely the Fairmont wagon, no good for my 1968-72 time frame.

We'll keep our fingers crossed that it's a new product...

This reminds me  - I ordered the Fairmonts @ MBK when they were announced - never got them.

Have they been out?

The Fairmont station wagons will be correct for 1978 to 1980 model years.  The grilles and headlights were changed for the 1981 to 1983 model years.  However, I have a photo of what is suppose to be a 1981 Fairmont that looks just like the 1978-80 models.

No, they have not shipped yet...Atlas seems to be a little behind. The GP35's and SD24's are now on the way, but are both late.

Although the Fairmont sold in 'good' numbers, I'll never have on on my layout.  ...unless it's in a scrap yard...  Great engine; ugly car.

BLW's web site also shows an announcement for a new-tooling 48' trailer...
