Some slides I scanned from the early 1980's on the Apalachicola Northern.

When a short line buys brand new power, it just has to show it off:

Side view of brand new GP15-T 721:

SW1500's on the ready track. Woodracks stored at the right.:

More AN from the 1980's next week, including cabooses.

How long will it be before they show us how to add DCC to a tree?

I stumbled across this file that I shot back in February.  Pretty cool.

& that coke train was headed west towards Sterling!

I usually go for "asthetic" pics (sp?) with those-but keep my cam ready for
once in awhile, an oddball shows up. I remember catching an old L&N car in
one of those earlier this year, but by doing so, had to sacrifice getting a pic
of the old SLSF that was close behind it. (may have been a bad decision, but
they were doing 50+-not a lot of wiggle-room. Oh well)

They're not "Crown Victorias"-they're known
as "Police Interceptors"
