Consider
a 'sample' order.  Usually 10-25 at 20% over the price but a good way to confirm they are exactly what you want...

I was able to get an order from LEDTronics for 20 red SMD LEDS a few years ago at the listed price even though it was for a min 250qty.

Pretty good service from them also.

Steve

Here is my source for all my SMD LEDs I use

www.us.kingbright.com

I just ordered those for street lights. $ 0.38 minimum order 1.

You have to sign up on the internet to see the prices but they have really nice stuff.

My usual supplier for electronic components is:

http://www.allelectronics.com/index.html

but they don't have SMD LEDs, I just checked... other cool things tho  :)

Mouser is far and away the best source I've found for SMD components like LEDs and resistors.  Hundreds of LEDs from several manufacturers, great prices, and no minimum order.
