Voting for the N Scale Vehicle of the Year Award

The voting for the Third Annual N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards will take place at the National N Scale Convention in Hartford Connecticut during registration on Wednesday, August 8th, and conclude at the Swap-A-Rama on Friday, August 10th.  If you are unable to attend the convention, but would like to vote for the models of your choice, you can by casting an absentee ballot.

An absentee ballot may be obtained by sending me an email, and I will send a reply with an “e-ballot”.  Last year the voting was very close, and only one vote separated the top three candidates for the New Vehicle Model of the Year.  Please note that all absentee ballots must received by July 30th.

The Athearn Mack Model R cement truck was the winner of the New N Scale Vehicle of the Year Award, and the GHQ Ford LN9000 snowplow was the winner of the Enhanced N Scale Vehicle of the Year Award.  I was able to present the award certificate to John Engstrom, Director of Marketing for Athearn, at the convention.  I will be mailing GHQ’s award certificate to Gregg Scott.
