Wayzata was originally a plan 3410 12-1 sleeper.  I'll have to pull out the book to see what got changed.

Thanks Mike, I did some looking around and that car looks very close to the old Rivarossi sleeper which I've seen identified as a 3410-B plan.

No, that would be the "very" in "very close". ;D

It does have full hight windows in the same place.

Then the CGW car pictured is a 3410, which is what MTL is releasing.   :D

These have been done in brass by PRB.  If anyone's interested here's the website for what is left.

I have at least 8 various models of these cars and I do like them.

Considering that the going price for new passenger cars is around $40. $75 for a brass car doesn't seem too bad at all. (I tend to drop things.) Frank

Joe D'Amato from MTL posted this over on trainboard:

Shades of 1976! Why is it that déjà vu immediately swam into my head when this topic broached itself on trainboard a week or so ago. I seem to remember that in the olden days Kadee rambled off in this direction several times . . . . . . . . . . I'm sorry!!!! It was the Kadee rumor mill rambled off in this direction several times!

I, for one, ain't gonna fork over any monies for advanced reservations!!!

If your dealer makes you pay for advanced reservations, I might suggest another dealer. Most do not. Frank
