Atlas Conrail NE6 caboose #19805

Hello all,

I purchased a Conrail NE-6 caboose, road number CR 19805, yesterday at a local train show. I have done some research to find that this caboose is now restored to original New Haven paint at Catawissa, PA. I came across a website showing photos of the car now, and still in Conrail Blue back in 1996.

Does anyone know the retirement date of this caboose?  I purchased it for occasional use on a Conrail run-through train on my circa 1990 Norfolk Southern layout.

A belated "thank you" for your reply.  It looks like I chose the wrong caboose, although the "Conrail Quality" wide-vision cab also available at the same show was too new for what I was shooting for.  At any rate, I'll beat it up a little and let it trail those trains on occasion anyway.
