Chirping birds say we are getting a MILW ribside in N, could it be IM who is doing it since they did the work in HO?

Money on the SD45-2s pushed back, at least until 2008 rolls around.

Not that any of them interest me in the slightest, I'm just saying  ;)

SD45-2

I'm glad to see that the CSX SD45-2 will be in the dark future paint and only 2 numbers. Relieves the temptation if more numbers were available. ;)

The original announcement was 6 numbers in the bright future if I am not mistaken. Mr. Wallet was not happy with that possibilty. :o

Let's hope that IM gets the QC right off-the-bat.  They still don't have it down for the tunnel motors. :( :-\

Indeed.  I'd rather wait a little longer for my EL '45-2s than have to return/rework them.

What is wrong with the IM tunnelmotors, specifically the SD45-2? I have one of the DM&IR from the last release and am rather pleased with it, especially since I had Aztec mill the frame for one of the MRC sound decoders.

Well, some of them look pretty good, some of them look rough.

I'm going for a few of the PFE express reefers.

There are some REA reefers due next month. They aren't "quite right" per the prototype -- especially in that number series -- but they will serve well as stand-in's for the time being.
