Did GHQ have a licensing issue?

I noticed in their latest advertising, and on their web site http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/n-scale-farm-equipment.html that they no longer refer to the John Deere models as "John Deere" or even "JD". Now they are simply called "Green"

I would expect that they did.

John Deere, and even Caterpillar, are pretty agressive on brand and even color identification.  They make UP look timid by comparison.

If you look at Athearn, they have the TM and logo all over any Deere products.  If you've got it, flaunt it.

Seeing as how they brand the color and the paint, an unpainted model that could be painted some other color or green might not even be acceptable.
