Usually when I hear that, my wife wants me to pluck something from a high shelf... or a jar of pickles needs to be pried loose...

Nice shot.  Hagerstown in the heyday. Better start scoping for some Reading GP-30's...
Thanks, Ed.

Thanks John.  I'm a SPF myself, modeling in "N" scale.  Here's one more for enjoyment:

I was driving though Hagerstown a few weeks ago (I go through the area weekly) and as I drove by where the roundhouse was it got me thinking how Hagerstown was once know as the "hub city" ...

Taken in the Mid 70's in MD, DC, and PA.  I'm orignally from Shippensburg, PA and always had an interest in PRR, Reading and WM.  PC left me cold.  Conrail never grew on me but was better then PC.  Below is another I took.

Took the above photo from the Reading bridge which crossed the PC (Ex PRR).  After leaving gthe bridge I turned around and took this shot:

If you've read the thread about what it would take to change eras, this picture illustrates my point to a tee.

For general info.  The track going thru town are now gone.  The reading tracks are still there but now owned by CSX and single tracked.  The track on the right went town and reversed into the Reading freight station.  Here's a photo of the station (also now gone).
